College of Liberal Arts

Department of French Language and Literature

Introduction

Of the many different countries in the world, France has had a particularly large cultural influence on Korea and though France follows the cultures of many different countries in Europe, it still maintains its own unique tradition.

Relationships with Korea are accelerating because of Korea-EU FTA agreement and therefore, we will continue to maintain our position as positive companions in the international society.

Under these national relationships, the Department of French Language and Literature will continue to place efforts in the general understanding of France and to transmit the knowledge and grounding needed for cultural exchanges through systematic language courses.
