Department of Mobile Image & Motion Graphic Design

Introduction

Department of Mobile Image & Motion Graphic Design makes students have international design competitiveness through a convergent education and will stand on its tiptoe as a department getting world's attention beyond the level of regional characterization as it produces the creative talents which is required by the mobile centered ubiquitous era. By doing so, the program sets the objective of education as satisfying the cultural phenomenon of new age and furthermore, raising the talents who possess an overall practical ability in the field of Mobile Image & Motion Graphic Design suitable for the requirement of nation and local community.

Department of Mobile Image & Motion Graphic Design is the distinctive feature of mobile industrial design in that the specialized knowledge and information from various fields where practical process is required in the mobile related industry which keeps on growing as it gradually gets expanded and universalized. Through the practical and interdisciplinary education centered on creating new values and new concepts, the department sets the objective of education as satisfying the cultural phenomenon of new age and furthermore, raising the talents who possess an overall practical ability in the field of Mobile Image & Motion Graphic Design suitable for the requirement of nation and local community.

History

The College of Design and Art was first approved and installed as the Department of Applied Arts in the College of Family in 1968. The College of Design and Art has continued to revise and supplement its educational system to overcome its difficulties as a local university for growing and graduating many qualified students constantly.
In the midst of rapidly changing university environments to the social changes caused by informationization, the College of Design and Art divided the School of Art and Design to the School of Fine Arts and School of Design in August 2001 in order to construct an educational system that meets the needs of the times, in order to find ways to help the university grow.
