Yeungnam University (President CHOI Oe-chool) held the “ROTC Cadet Competency Enhancement Dale Carnegie Leadership Camp” from September 26 to 27 for cadets of ROTC Classes 64 and 65. This camp, based on the 113-year-old global Dale Carnegie Leadership Program, was organized with the sponsorship and participation of KANG Hee-rak, President of the 35th YU ROTC Alumni Association and Director of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Carnegie Human Resource Development Institute. The camp began with a lecture by President KANG titled “Leadership and Attitude Development,” followed by diverse sessions such as “Core Values of a Leader,” “Understanding Others and Building Better Relationships,” “Overcoming Worry and Stress,” “Communication for Leaders,” “Self-Discovery,” and “Motivation.” Through these activities, participants examined their personal leadership styles and strengthened their interpersonal, teamwork, and self-management skills.

May they dedicate themselves to their studies and training to become officers who honor our university and the nation.”
