YU (President CHOI Oe-chool) held “2022 Second-Semester Degree Conferment Ceremony” on the 22nd.
In the degree conferment ceremony held in YU Chunma Art Center Chamber Hall, President CHOI Oe-chool of YU and President PARK Yong-wan of Graduate School conferred degrees to and congratulated the representatives of masters’ students and all doctoral students of the graduate schools.
Degree pendants and diplomas were conferred for colleges and seven special graduate schools such as Graduate School of Environmental Health, Graduate School of Culture and Art Design, Graduate School of Sports Science, Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Engineering, and Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul.
On that day, 878 bachelors, 366 masters, and 69 doctors were produced by YU. Among them, 191 foreigner students (85 bachelors, 83 masters, and 23 doctors) received degrees and 116 faculty graduates received double degree with double majors.
President CHOI Oe-chool made a congratulatory message in the graduation ceremony, “The honorable degrees you received are the result of your hard work and dedication to realize your goals. I believe that YU graduates have grown into true intellectuals of this era to lead global innovation and pursue practical values of global co-prosperity. Korea is the only country that has risen to the ranks of advanced countries in aid through a middle-income country from an underdeveloped country receiving aid. Such situation ask us new living. I hope that YU graduates will create Korea with the dignity of an advanced country, and further grow into talented people to contribute for the common prosperity of the global village.”
