중국 문학사에 있어서 시의 최고 번성기를 꼽으라면 당대를 들 수 있다. 이 시기는 특히 뛰어난 시인이 많이 배출되었으며 대량의 작품에 지어졌다. 이백과 두보로 대표되는 이 시기의 시에 대해서 전체적인 시단의 흐름을 분석하고 시인들의 작품과 생애를 통해 시를 분석한다.

중국 최초의 세계적인 글자 사전인 《설문해자》의 가치와 체제에 대해서 살펴보고, 이 책과 관련된 설문류의 서적들에 대해서도 연구한다. 또 《설문》에 서 나타나는 육서의 분류법도 아울러 살펴본다.

국제 음성기호 및 한어의 발음을 표기하는 각종의 발음부호를 익히게 한 뒤에, 현대 언어학적 이론에 입각하여 중국의 상고음과 중고음의 체계를 분석하고, 중국의 전통적인 음운이론도 알아본다.

원·명·청 세 왕조에 걸쳐서 중국시의 변화와 발전 상황을 이해하고 주요시인의 작품을 이해, 감상, 비평한다. 먼저 이 당시 시가들의 특징과 문학사의 지위를 알아보고, 주요 시 작품들을 분석하면서 다른 시기의 작품들과 비교한다.

중국 고대 시가와 산문의 특징을 겸하고 있는 문학의 장르로 한대에 크게 성행했던 부는 한대에 이르러 그 체제가 완성되었기 때문에 한부라고 부르지만 이후 시대의 흐름에 따라서 여러 가지 형태로 변화하였다. 이 과목은 그 흐름을 연구하고 각 흐름에서의 특징과 대표적인 작가와 작품을 분석한다.

중국 대중문화 중의 한 분야인 영화에 대한 특강으로, 중국 영화의 역사·제1세대에서 제4세대 감독의 세대별 특징·제5세대 및 제6세대 감독 영화의 형식과 내용상의 특징·최근의 상업영화·홍콩과 타이완 영화 등을 포함한 중국 영화 전반에 대해 파악해 보고, 아울러 관련 작품들을 감상하고 비평한다.

중국산문사상 당송대는 중국의 산문이 내용과 형식 양방면에서 가장 큰 진보를 이루었던 시기로 기록된다. 특히 한유, 유종원, 구양수, 소동파 등 소위 당송팔대가들의 명문장들은 중국은 물론 한국과 일본 등에서 널리 읽혀지고 있는 중국산문의 典範이다. 본 강좌는 이들 당송팔대가의 산문을 중심으로 작품의 내용, 형식 및 작가별 특징 등을 연구함으로써 중국 고전 산문의 전통과 독특한 미학적 특징들을 이해하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다.

중국 최초의 시가집인 《시경》의 시를 육의에 따라 그 체제와 내용을 분석하고 제가들의 주해를 검토하여 후대 시문학에 끼치는 영향을 살펴본다. 먼저 《시경》의 원문을 철저하게 이해하여, 《시경》해석의 새로운 가능성을 탐구해 본다. 초사의 원문을 이해하고 그 내용을 중심으로 토론한다. 초사의 대표작자인 굴원의 생애연구를 통해서 초사에 나타나고 있는 그의 사상을 평가한다. 또 굴원과 송옥 등의 작품을 제가들의 주석을 통해서 분석하고 후대 문학과의 연관성을 탐구한다.

갑골문은 오늘날 우리가 실물을 확인할 수 있는 최초의 문자이며, 상 주 왕조에서 전국 시대에 이르기까지 청동기에 새겨진 금문은 갑골문과 소전을 이어주는 매개적 역할을 한다. 현재까지 수집된 갑골문과 금문 및 이후의 문자를 포괄적으로 다루어, 각 자체의 비교를 통하여 한자의 변천과정을 연구하며, 각 자체가 지니고 있는 비중을 탐구해 본다. 우리가 사용하고 있는 한자는 수 천 년의 중국 역사상 사용되어 왔던 한자가 발전한 것이다. 은허의 갑골문 역시 중국 한자가 발전하던 도중에 나타났던 문자들 가운데 하나로 오늘날 우리가 실물을 확인할 수 있는 최초의 문자이다. ‘鍾鼎文’이라고 하는 금문은 상·주왕조에서 전국시대에 이르기까지 청동기에 새겨진 문자로서 갑골문과 소전을 이어주는 매개적 역할을 한다. 이러한 종류의 한자들의 변천 연구를 통해서 한자의 어원을 파악할 수 있도록 하며 여러 가지 언어적인 현상을 근본적으로 규명할 수 있도록 한다.

The bronze inscriptions, known as Jinwen or "Bell and Tripod Script," carved on bronze vessels from the Shang and Zhou dynasties to the Warring States period, serve as a bridge between Oracle bone script and the seal script(Xiaozhuan). This course comprehensively examines the oracle bone script, bronze inscriptions, and later forms of Chinese characters to study the evolutionary process of Chinese writing. By comparing individual characters, it explores their transformations and the significance each form holds in the historical development of Chinese characters.
