Returning students who are not from China, Cuba, Syria, Macedonia, Kosovo should visit the Korean Embassy or the Consulate in their home countries with Certificate of Admission issued from the Office of International Services and apply for VISA.

Students who need to stay in Korea longer than permitted period need to apply for visa extension.
Students with GPA higher than C (Accumulative GPA 2.0): Application form, Certificate of Enrollment, Transcript, Alien Registration Card, Fee Students with GPA lower than C: Application form, Certificate of Enrollment, Transcript, Alien Registration Card, Fee, Certificate of bank balance amounting to $5,000 USD or higher.
Students with attendance 70% or higher: Application Form, Certificate of Enrollment, Transcript, Alien Registration Card, Fee Students with attendance lower than 70%: Application Form, Certificate of Enrollment, Transcript, Alien Registration Card, Fee, Certificate of bank balance $3,000 USD or higher.
All foreigners with visas permitting a stay of more than 90 days and who intend to stay for more than 90 days after the date of arrival must apply for an alien registration card at the local Immigration Office. An alien registration card will be issued within 4 weeks after application is processed. As an alien registration card is a requirement when applying for most services in Korea, it is advised that Yeungnam University students have it issued as soon as possible.
