 Professors of the Department of Physics Chipped in to Donate 100 Million won in the Department Development Fund.

 Professors of the Department of Physics, who visited Lee, Hyo-soo, president of the Yeungnam university, in the morning of the 18th, handed over a pledge to take out part of their monthly salary beginning in February to donate 100 million won to the department development fund. All 11 full-time professors in the Department of Physics signed this pledge.

 Joh, Young-Gul, dean of the Department of Physics, stated, \"We decided to do what we can to help develop our department and students\" and added that \"we feel sorry that we didn\'t act earlier faster, but we hope that this will make the trust and unity of our department\'s members stronger.\"

 President Lee, Hyo-soo, stated, \"I could not be more grateful than to see the professors take care of their students not only in class, but also taking the initiative to show their care for the department,\" and added, \"I hope that this atmosphere can spread over our entire university.\"

 Meanwhile, the Yeungnam University Department of Physics is planning to hold a Physics Department Alumni First General Meeting at the end of January and continue to come together to help the department to develop further.
