Institute of Resources Development

The Institute of Resource Development was established in March 1981 by merging the two former Institutes of Natural Products, and Food Resource Development founded in March 1968 and in March 1977, respectively.

The purpose of the Institute is to survey the natural resources and to research into the development of food resources, energy resources, medicinal resources, fiber resources, and building materials.

The results are currently published in the Journal of Resource Development annually.
