  1- 1	COMMUNICATION SKILL The ability to communicate effectively in speaking and writing is one of the most important skills for educational and career success. This course gives students opportunities to discuss, practice, and eventually master the skills involved in oral and written communication. The topics include theory and practice of effective communication, making speeches, presentation skills, principles of persuasion, and writing skills.
  1- 1	PRACTICAL ENGLISH The aim of the course is to help students develop basic English verbal skills in real life situations. The course will be co-taught by Korean and Native English instructors. Korean instructors will provide students with basic English structure, vocabulary, and expressions, and students will be encouraged to practice speaking English utilizing basic English structures. Students will further practice expressing themselves in English with native English instructors.
  1- 1	SEMINAR FOR ACADEMIC LIFE 1. Summary of the course This course is to assist university freshmen in CRM designing to adapt university life well through the instruction and counselling of supervising professor. (This course is composed of self analysis, personality type test, career research, instruction for the success of university life, career plan and direction setting, CRM designing method and CRM designing. The course should be teaching in classes of the students by supervising professor.) 2. Course objectives This course is to motivate the students before the mid term exam and provide students with self analysis, personality type test (MBTI or TCI) and career research (YAT test). Also, this course shall has a plan to instruct the students to enhance the efficiency of university life through career and time management. In addition, this course is to make a chance for the students to have practical assistance to university life by providing study method, report designing strategy and the information on academic system and various kinds of internal programs of the university. After the mid term exam, the students will be instructed to set the direction of career designing through continuous counselling of supervising professor and the students will be able to establish CRM designing and execution plan.
  1- 1	SOFTWARE AND AI Software and AI (Artificial Intelligence) course aims to educate the basic concepts of software and computational thinking to use them in various applications. It allows students of various majors to experience the core technologies of the 4th industrial revolution, such as big data, machine learning, and AI. It also introduces various applications of AI so that students can easily apply these technologies to their field of study. This course classifies the lecture types into three categories, and adjust the lecture difficulty according to the student's academic ability.
  1- 1	UNDERSTANDING OF LIFE SCIENCE This course introduces the academic concept of life sciences as the shared basic activities that humans commonly engage in out of necessity such as subsistence, housing, sociality, material goods, rituals, and physical activity. Accordingly, students will learn about the intrinsic value of humanity’s social wellbeing and acquire basic knowledge in each area of life sciences that is needed in order to become trained professionals by pursuing integrated perspectives drawn from the strengths in the various areas of the life sciences such as clothing, nutrition, housing, family, and physical education.
  1- 1	FOUNDATION OF HOUSING DESIGN After practicing basic architectural drawings, students study and apply the basic concepts of housing design and design concepts, and learn about designs that reflect functions and behaviors.
  1- 1	HOUSING AND CULTURE To bring up the ability to make healthy housing culture through understanding the process of formation and the search of essence for the housing culture.
  1- 2	CONTEMPORARY PEOPLE AND LIVING ENVIRONMENT The securement of environmental rights is one of the fundamental human rights guaranteed by the constitution. According to the basic environment law, the living environment is defined as the environment around our everyday life such as the air, water, daylight, waste, noise, vibration, odor, and so forth. What is basically demanded for the establishment of such living environment is the acquisition of detailed information and its practice. This course supplies the precise information on the living environment, and suggests the executive plan of practical actions for our better living environment.
  1- 2	SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION AND SERVICE This course is to cultivate community sense as members of society and the global village for students in order to develop the basic knowledge required as global citizens. Especially, this course is to foster the spirit of cooperation, sharing, service, and creativity and study the social contribution and leadership to solving the challenges the global community faces. As a liberal arts course, it is centered to nurture a leader having the global capability to contribute to community development through learning the knowledge and the case on the value & logic of social responsibility focused on environmental preservation, social contribution, and good governance(ESG). This course aims to foster a generous mind, learn knowledge and technology and build the capacity to contribute to building a society towards a safer and happier world through the study of theory and practice.
  1- 2	SUSTAINABLE PUBLIC DESIGN To create economic growth with protecting the environment and keep the nature for sustainable development was issued at the 21st century and potential desire for improving the quality of public environmental area and life style enabled the public design. Collaborating experts from various disciplines and convergence thinking is important in public design to approach and to be understood. Considering the process of ecological approach to nature should be extended to areas beyond the traditional design of the system and the system encourages innovation and design based design should be combined. And the sustainable growth of the concept and design, public design. Furthermore, linkages and service design and concept for understanding In our society, and the public think something is worth, discuss effective practices, Each invited experts to share the story happens in the field, and To be verified through on-site visits of public design.
  1- 2	COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN I Understanding various fields of utilizing computer in Interior Design and training basic computer skills including drafting, modeling and rendering for Interior Design.
  1- 2	RESIDENTIAL INTERIOR DESIGN This subject deals with the interior design process according the residential space. A basic step for space design to create an interior space through the house design. Through this subject, students are accomplished the basic knowledge for Design Concept. Space Planning, Lighting & Color Planning, Furniture Planning and Architecture Materials Planning which are needed in interior design

  2- 1	HISTORY OF INTERIOR DESIGN An introduction to the history of interiors from ancient times to the present. Seeing each area of interior design, historically will give students an opportunities to create future-oriented design.
  2- 1	HOUSING AND WELFARE Housing welfare concerns the stabilization of housing supply and the improvement of residential standard for our better living environment. This course provides theoretical overview of housing welfare, and draws up measures to develop housing welfare programs for the housing impaired people.
  2- 1	HOUSING ENVIRONMENT Understand basic theories on heat, air, light, and sound environments, which are influencing factors of the residential and indoor environment, and analyze and evaluate the environment of various indoor spaces through field surveys and measurements. In addition, the task of evaluating the indoor environment of residential spaces and proposing improvement plans is carried out.
  2- 1	HOUSING PLANNING & SERVICE This course is designed to help students understand the principles of interior space planning in the context of relationships among human beings, natural environments, and housing and develop housing planning skills by collecting and analyzing various cases.
  2- 2	APARTMENT DESIGN STUDIO Understanding and analyzing the land and context, combining unit spaces, configuring them in three dimensions, and learning about the composition and expression capabilities of internal and external spaces.
  2- 2	ENVIRONMENTAL BEHAVIOR AND PSYCHOLOGY Overall, environmental psychology and behavior for design are studied, and the interaction relationship between individual humans and the residential environment is understood. In addition, it understands the ecology of the environment through a convergent approach with various disciplines such as psychology, sociology, and medicine, including all variables that affect the user's behavior and psychology.

  3- 1	COMMERCIAL SPACE AND DISPLAY This course is designed to help students understand display techniques for commercial and other types of exhibit space, such as VMD, and develop integrative skills to construct and design space.
  3- 1	DESIGN AND 3D PRINTING Understand the digital design process, explore the availability of 3D printing, and develop usability.
  3- 1	INGREDIENTS FOR THE INDOOR ENVIRONMENT Identify the types and characteristics of materials in the indoor environment, and cultivate the ability to utilize suitable materials from the perspective of function, aesthetics, and user psychology in each indoor space. It also develops the ability to discover new materials by learning new materials and materials in other fields that can be used in indoor environments.
  3- 1	METHOD AND RESEARCH OF HOME ECONOMICS This course is a requirement class for the students to receive the second-degree or the first degree certificate for teaching logical writing classes in private institutes. In this course, we will in particular examine how to teach the so-called logical writing and a course of study connected with the home economics. In this class, students will get the basic knowledge and materials for the integrated logical writing.
  3- 1	SPACE ENVIRONMENT DESIGN STUDIO(1) Understand the concept of urban regeneration/public design, related laws/institutions/case, and understand urban space analysis and interpretation, and external space design processes.
  3- 1	HUMAN ENGINEERING As a subject that understands the basic principles for residential design that considers human characteristics from a user-centered perspective, it learns about human body dimensions, human physical, behavioral, and sensory characteristics, and age-specific characteristics. Through this, it has the ability and attitude to apply and evaluate the user-centered perspective to residential design.
  3- 2	HOUSING MAINTENANCE It understands the basic structural principles of indoor space intuitively and sensibly rather than a mathematical solution and acquires the concept of architectural structure. Learn how to maintain and manage housing and cultivate abilities.
  3- 2	HOUSING MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE Learn management organizations, office management, accounting management, etc. related to the management of apartment houses, focusing on related laws and on-site practical contents, and learn contents related to the management and operation of various types of apartments.
  3- 2	INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT At the construction stage of the interior architecture project, acquire necessary knowledge related to construction, management, accumulation, and specification, and learn related laws and regulations.

  4- 1	FURNITURE DESIGN Understand the basic knowledge of furniture design and the furniture design process, and cultivate various furniture design development and production capabilities according to the function and role of furniture in space.
  4- 1	HUMAN ENGINEERING PRACTICE Based on knowledge of ergonomic technology theory, work methods, work tools, work environments, and workplaces analyze the suitability of workers in consideration of their physical and cognitive characteristics and identify improvement factors. Prevent industrial accidents related to improving existing systems, investigating and analyzing harmful factors in the workplace, improving workplaces to prevent musculoskeletal diseases, and preventing human errors.
  4- 1	RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT SURVEY PLANNING Learn data collection, input, and analysis methods based on basic theory and empirical cases of research methods to investigate and analyze related contents to diagnose and solve residential and social problems, and cultivate the ability of empirical research and business planning for a desirable residential environment.
  4- 1	RESIDENTIAL WELFARE CONSULTING In order to provide various welfare services centered on housing, learn about counseling theory, counseling techniques, case management, etc. from basic theories, and learn case management models and management consulting methods.

  4- 2	DESIGN AND PORTFOLIO Students learn about editorial design and portfolio production by synthesizing individual spatial design achievements.
  4- 2	SPACE MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT Through recent changes in the housing market, trend analysis, and user demand analysis, various marketing strategies and techniques are learned by establishing product development goals and analyzing related cases to strategically develop housing products that meet the needs of the times.
  4- 2	URBAN ENVIRONMENT DESIGN AND PLANNING The course, Urban Environment Design and Planning concerns various urban design such as urban environment planning, bridge and symbolized object design, and townscape design so that students can achieve the practical knowledge of urban environment design practice.
  4- 2	CONVERGENCE SPACE DESIGN PLANNING It fosters future housing design planning capabilities in terms of convergence with various elements that affect the shape of the future space environment for human life and various future disciplines.
