학과소개
대학원 행정학과는 1963년에 석사과정을 개설하고 1973년에 박사과정을 개설하였다. 2024년 2월 기준으로 석사학위 취득자 171명, 박사학위 취득자 87명을 배출하고 있다.
본 학과는 행정이론, 행정학방법론, 행정계량분석을 기초공통 과목으로 개설하면서, 의사결정분석론, 행정철학, 정책집행론, 위기관리론, 정책분석평가론, 복지국가론, 행정사례연구, 전자정부론, 공공관리론, 정부간관계론 등 다양한 전공과목을 세부 영역별로 개설하고 있다.
이러한 교과과정을 통하여 세계화, 정보화 및 지방화 시대에 요구되는 창의적 기획관리 능력과 합리적 문제해결 능력, 행정환경에 능동적으로 대응하면서 조직 및 인적자원을 효과적으로 관리하는 능력 등을 함양한 전문관리자의 양성과 행정학이나 정책학 관련 분야의 교수진과 연구자의 배출을 목표로 하고 있다.
Introduction
The Department of Public Administration at the graduate level established its master's program in 1963 and its doctoral program in 1973. As of February 2024, it has produced 171 master's degree holders and 87 doctoral degree holders.
The department offers foundational core courses such as administrative theory, methodology of public administration, and administrative quantitative analysis. Additionally, it offers a variety of specialized courses in areas including decision analysis, administrative philosophy, policy implementation theory, crisis management theory, policy analysis and evaluation, welfare state theory, administrative case studies, e-government theory, public management theory, and intergovernmental relations.
Through these curricula, the department aims to cultivate professional managers equipped with creative planning and management skills demanded in the era of globalization, informatization, and decentralization. It also aims to foster the ability for rational problem-solving and proactive adaptation to administrative environments, as well as effective management of organizations and human resources. Furthermore, the department aims to produce educators and researchers in the field of public administration and policy studies.
