Call for applications for Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

Institute of Information & Communication, Yeungnam University (Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk, Republic of Korea) is looking for a full-time post-doctoral research(s). The main research area is Integrated vehicle health management (IVHM) that is the unified capability of systems to assess the current or future state of the member system health and integrate that picture of system health within a framework of available resources and operational demand.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in the area of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,

Published SCI paper(s) as a first author during career

Must be able to join within September, 1st 2023

Area of Research

IVHM examines the vehicle health against the vehicle usage data and within the context of similar information for other vehicles within the fleet.

The key parts are

Data acquisition and Manipulation of vehicle sensors

State detection and Diagnostics of vehicle

Prognosis assessment and Advisory generation

Communications between the vehicle and the maintenance  organization

Personal Qualities

Able to wok independently and collaboratively, sound organizational and open communication skills

Responsible approach to equipment use and maintenance

Payment

Salary: ≥36 mill KRW/year (including 4 insurances), depending on career

Publication incentives + 2 weeks paid break per year
